At River City Life, we are endeavouring to respond to the Lord call to be an ‘apostolic’, sent people. We desire to break out of the maintenance mentality and respond to Jesus’ call to ‘go’ and make disciples of all nations. These are some of the ways in which we are walking in this.
- We are currently in partnership with local churches in the Philippines, helping them to not only spread the Good News, but also to help them be more self-sufficient by helping them grow businesses like Bakerys, food crops and the like.
- We support an Orphange in India, sowing seeds into children’s lives.
- We send out people who minister and serve the Lord in various ways, in various nations.
- We are currently praying into where else the Lord would have go, and who He would connect us with.
On top of this, we have a vision to send teams out regularly into different nations as the Lord opens doors to minister in a variety of ways. These include; medical teams, evangelistic teams, prayer teams, teaching teams – really any team built up of people who minister according to God’s grace upon them. We believe that the opportunities are endless, we just need to equip, empower and release people to go and serve, with the heart ‘freely you have received, freely give’.
