River City Life Local Outreach Ministries
We have just opened a ‘Care’ Shop located at 92 Elizabeth St, Launceston. You can contact the store by phoning 6331 6681.
We see this as a two-way ministry. 1) We are looking to provide good quality second hand goods at great prices in order to help people in this great city. 2) Secondly, we hope to raise money for missions, whether that abroad (Nationally or Internationally), or to help people locally who are in need.
We are always on the lookout for donated items, so if you have furniture, whitegoods, clothes or other items that are in good order, give us a call or drop them into the shop.
Also, there are spots available to help out in the shop too. This is not about us as a church, but the church in this city – it’s a Kingdom project, so why not come and help out if you have a heart for this ministry. It’s a great place to meet people and bring forth the goodness of God to people we might not often meet during our normal week. If you can help out, send us an email or ring the above phone number.
We believe that we need to bring God out of behind the walls of Sunday Church and into the marketplace – the weekly events of our lives and thus are looking to expand as the Lord brings in people and opportunities.
