Kids Ministry

Kids Church

River City Life runs Kid's Church which is determined to teach Biblical morals to our children, and help them to understand how this strengthens the society in which we live.  For parents that are supportive and involved, this ministry will be part of enabling children to be raised as dynamic followers of Christ. 

Kid's Church meets weekly during school terms and caters for children starting the year the child turns 6 to the year they finish grade 6.

Kid's Church seeks to provide an environment for children to learn about:

  • the teachings of Jesus Christ, to live a life of love, hope, freedom, peace and to consider others before self
  • God the Father, encouraging relationships to be built through Jesus Christ in prayer, praise and worship, and the sharing of testimonies
  • the Holy Spirit, allowing opportunity for children to receive the Baptism of the Holy Spirit, and learn to know the Spirit's prompting, direction, courage, healing and words of prophecy
  • the Bible, through stories of strength, trials and encouragement found in the Bible

Tiny Treasures

River City Life runs Tiny Treasures a pre-school based program providing age related teaching on a relationship with God, Bible stories, praise and prayer. 

Tiny Treasures meets weekly except for Easter Sunday and Christmas Day, catering for children aged 1 to the year they turn 5.

 

These programs are available for all children to attend.
